Do I need to be very active or sporty to work with you?

No. You don’t need to train at a certain level or identify as an “athlete”. I work with women who want to feel more energised and capable in their body — whether that’s returning to movement, training regularly, or simply keeping up with everyday life.

Is your work focused on weight loss?

No. My work focuses on fuelling for energy, hormone health, and performance, not weight loss as a primary goal. While I am qualified in weight management and body composition, weight loss is not the central focus of my work.

For some people, changes in body composition may occur as a result of improved fuelling, hormonal balance, and recovery.

Do you offer meal plans?

Yes, I offer personalised nutrition plans designed around your goals, energy needs and lifestyle.

However, I do not create rigid, restrictive or extreme meal plans.

My approach focuses on building strong nutritional foundations first, ensuring meals are balanced, realistic and supportive of your training, hormonal health and everyday life. Plans are structured to provide clarity and direction, but always allow flexibility so they can be sustained beyond a short-term phase.

If you are looking for rapid fixes, highly restrictive protocols or extreme approaches, this service may not be the right fit.

Is this suitable if I’m perimenopausal or menopausal?

Yes. I regularly support women navigating peri-menopause and menopause. Nutrition plays a key role in managing energy, recovery, inflammation, and hormonal symptoms during this stage of life.

I’m tired all the time - can nutrition really help?

Ongoing fatigue is commonly linked to under-fuelling, nutrient deficiencies, poor recovery, or hormonal changes. Nutrition can play a powerful role in supporting energy when addressed properly and consistently.

Do you work with children directly?

My work with children is parent-focused. I support parents with evidence-based guidance on how to fuel active, growing children appropriately, without pressure or food rules. This keeps the focus on long-term support and a positive relationship with food.

My child plays sport - is sports nutrition safe for them?

Yes, when it is age-appropriate and developmentally suitable. My approach prioritises growth, healthy lifestyles and recovery first, with performance support layered in safely.

Is a one-off consultation enough?

A one off consultation can be very effective if you want clarity, reassurance, or guidance around a specific concern. Some people feel confident implementing changes after one session, while others choose additional support later.

Do you support gluten-free diets?

Yes. I have extensive experience supporting clients who follow a gluten-free diet, whether for medical reasons such as coeliac disease, autoimmune conditions, digestive symptoms, or personal needs.

My approach ensures gluten-free nutrition is nutrient complete, performance supportive, and practical, rather than restrictive. This is particularly important for active women and growing athletes, where adequate fuelling and micronutrient intake matter.

How quickly will I see results?

This varies depending on your starting point and consistency. Some clients notice improvements in energy or clarity within weeks, while others experience more gradual change. My focus is on sustainable progress rather than quick fixes.
