Supporting active women and growing athletes to fuel for energy, performance, and long-term health.

I’m a nutrition practitioner and behaviour coach specialising in performance led, hormone aware nutrition for active women and growing athletes.

My work focuses on helping people feel energised, resilient and confident in their body - without restriction, food fear, or extreme approaches.

ABOUT ME

I’m a professional and parent, and part of a very active family where sport and movement are simply part of everyday life. Between football, cricket, rugby, running, and yoga, our weeks are busy — and like many families, nutrition hasn’t always been top of the priority list.

For a long time, most days looked like grabbing food on the go, throwing together whatever was available for dinner, and heading straight off to the next commitment. We knew nutrition mattered, but when life felt full, it was often the first thing to slip.

Why I Do This Work:

My interest in nutrition started for personal reasons. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, I struggled with fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, inflammation, and difficult periods. I wanted to be active, but my body didn’t have the energy to support it exercise felt exhausting rather than empowering.

Through evidence based nutrition, I learned how to fuel my body properly to support energy, hormones and recovery. Over time, my symptoms improved, my energy returned and I was finally able to build a sustainable, active lifestyle.

This really came into focus as my son became more involved in sport. He was training more, growing quickly and burning through energy, yet eating much the same as before. Learning how to fuel him properly made a noticeable difference - not just to how he performed, but to how his body coped with growth, recovery, and day to day demands.

That experience plays a big part in how I now support active women and families.

MY APPROACH

In sport and family life, the focus is often on training sessions, busy schedules and keeping everything moving. Nutrition can easily slip down the priority list, especially when time and energy are limited.

There is also a strong emphasis on macronutrients like protein, carbohydrates and fats. While these matter, they don’t work in isolation. Steady energy, recovery, hormonal health and immune resilience all depend on consistent, well-balanced foundations.

With a background in behaviour coaching and 16 years of professional experience supporting long term change, I understand that knowing what to eat isn’t the hard part -making it work in real life is.

That’s why my approach starts with strong, sustainable nutritional foundations. I combine practical, evidence based guidance with behaviour change principles to help active women and families build habits that support training, growth and everyday life — without pressure, restriction or overwhelm.

Because nutrition should feel supportive, not stressful.
